How do I register my domain name?

Croan.ie can register the domain name for your website on your behalf. The domain name remains your property and will be renewed each year. If at anytime you wish to move your website to another design company or hosting provider you can do so easily.

I have an old website that is with another company what can I do?

Many companies took up offers for websites other companies but now find they are being charged exhorbitant rates for hosting or that these websites are non-performant or cannot be updated easily. Please contact us and we can arrange for your domain name and website to be moved. We can then work to improve your current site or replace it with a new one.

I don't have any experience with websites can you help?

Yes. That is what we do. We can project manage the whole process and do the work. No extra cost.

How much do you charge?

Hosting for your website will cost €125 per year. There are no hidden extras.

Have you designed GP websites?

Can we edit the website from the practice?

Yes. There are a number of options for updates, including tools to help you make changes directly.

How many pages can we have on the website?

There is no limit to the number of pages which you can have on your website. The average brochure type website has 10 pages. eCommerce websites can have many hundreds of pages which are used to describe the products on sale on that site..

Can we have our own pictures on the website?

Yes. You can have as many images as you want on your website. If you wish to update these yourself we can develop a Content Management System for you which allows you direct access to the content of your website.

Can we have links to other websites?

Yes. You can select links you think your visitors might find useful. You may have as many as you want.
